2006 California PD & TD weekly rates

Statutory weekly-rate caps for a California workers’-compensation injury with a 2006 date of injury. The weekly benefit is ⅔ of average weekly earnings, clamped to these figures (Lab. Code §4453).

PD weeks by rating (§4658(d))

How many weeks of PD benefits each 1% of permanent disability earns, for 2006 injuries. The base weeks are identical to 2013+ injuries; for 2005–2012 a separate ±15% return-to-work adjustment (later repealed by SB 863) can raise or lower the weeks actually paid.

How is the weekly PD rate calculated?
Two-thirds of the worker’s average weekly earnings, then clamped between the year’s statutory minimum and maximum (Lab. Code §4453). If earnings are unknown, RateString defaults to $290/week.
